Joe Bidome refers to a photoshopped image macro of Joe Biden's face stretched over a dome shape that became popular on Reddit in early November of 2020. The image takes direct inspiration from the 2019 Obamium image, featuring Barack Obama's face on a pyramid.

Origin

On November 8th, 2020, Redditor thefryn^[1] posted a photoshopped image macro to /r/dankmemes titled "Joe Bidome" (shown below). The image macro features the text, "You've heard of Obama Prism Now get ready for… Joe Bidome" along with an image of both Obamium, and an image of Joe Biden's face stretched over a 3D dome shape. The post was very successful, gaining over 102,000 upvotes and over 300 Reddit awards in 2 days.

On November 8th, 2020, Redditor Korkolykos created /r/JoeBidome.^[2] On the same day, Redditor Korkolykos^[3] posted a cropped version of thefryn's image isolating the Joe Bidome shape to /r/JoeBidome (shown below, left). Later that day, Redditor Paulix_05^[4] posted an original image macro featuring a cropped version of the Joe Bidome image, representing one of the earliest memes inspired by thefryn's post (shown below, right). Over the next few days, Redditors began reposting thefryn's Joe Bidome image to various subreddits.^[5][6]

On November 10th, Redditor WassupImBL^[7] uploaded a Joe Mama meme featuring Joe Bidome to /r/memes, gaining over 7,200 upvotes in 13 hours (shown below).
