The issue was soon addressed by user RandomStuff460 on a wiki discussion titled Some dude named Johnny D is more popular than the antagonist of No Brainer, referring that Johnny D is more popular than Mr. Bottoms, the main antagonist of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: No Brainer.
Many users joined in the trend, saying how Johnny D was their favorite character, one user named Arandomnamelol567 said that the wiki should be renamed to Johnny D Wiki and that all users must pray to him daily. This would be the start of Johnny D Supremacy.

After the discussion post, another user named Dr. Hamongagongulous made a joke tier list of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, where all books except No Brainer were in the F tier, due to not having Johnny D.

Many users, once again, joined in the trend, with user Jakzia calling the trend "Johnny D Supremacy", hence starting the trend.
