About
Jo's "I Can't" is a reaction video clip from the 2019 film Little Women in which Jo (played by Saoirse Ronan) repeatedly exclaims "I can't" in response to Laurie's (played by Timothée Chalamet) marriage proposal. The video clip became a popular reaction on Twitter used to describe something impossible in February 2020.
Origin
On December 25th, 2019, The film adaptation of the 1868 novel Little Women was released.[3] On January 19th, 2020, Twitter user @debickix uploaded a short clip of Jo March telling Laurie that she can't (shown below). The video gained over 4.8 million views and 300 likes in a month.

On February 17th, Prime Video's Twitter account used the video clip in reaction to the caption, "Boss: Can you maybe chill with the Adam Driver content today and promote some cool shows available on Prime Video? Me:" (shown below). The tweet accumulated over 6,300 likes and 1,300 retweets in a day. Junkee[1] and The Daily Dot[2] both published articles on the meme.
