Kylie Jenner is an American TV personality, model and entrepreneur who is best known for her cosmetics line, Kylie Cosmetics, and for starring in the E! reality TV series Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Career
In October 2007, Jenner and her parents, sister and half-siblings were hired by the American basic cable and satellite television channel E! to star in the reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. As of July 2018, the show has run for a total of fifteen seasons with 214 episodes.
Beginning in 2012, Kylie began her career by collaborating with PacSun[1] to create a clothing line with her sister Kendall. Soon after, Jenner launched Kylie Lip Kits which became the starting point to her company's success. She was named the next "youngest ever self-made billionaire" in an August 2018 issue of Forbes. Forbes estimates her Net Worth to be $900 Million. [2]
Kylie Cosmetics
In 2014, Kylie Jenner signed on with Seed Beauty who helped launch Jenner's own brand and company. Inspiration for the debut products came from Jenner's childhood insecurity about her lip size.[3] The first 15,000 Kylie Lip Kits debuted in 2015 and sold out within a minute. The company was renamed to Kylie Cosmetics in February 2016 and production was increased to 500,000 kits. By the end of 2016, the total revenue was $307 million.[2]

In January 2011, she launched her official Twitter[4] feed, gathering more than 25.2 million followers in the next seven years. On June 17, 2011, Jenner created her official Facebook[5] fan page, which gained over 21.4 million likes over the next seven years. 2011, Jenner created her Instagram[6] photo feed, garnering upwards of 111 million followers in seven years.
Baby Daddy Conspiracy
In May 2018, A photo of Jenner and her bodyguard, Tim Chung, was posted to Facebook sparking a discussion regarding their relationship. Fans started to draw comparisons between Jenner's daughter, Stormi, and Chung leading many to believe that Chung is Stormi's actual father.[10] Jenner and fiance, Travis Scott, have brushed off the many comments regarding this conspiracy.
Go Fund Me
On July 11, 2018, after Forbes announced that Jenner was only worth $900 Million, a GoFundMe[9] page was launched to help make Jenner a billionaire. 137 Donations, amounting to $1,888, were made within the first four days.

Reputation
Jenner received backlash from fans, makeup gurus, and Internet users alike after Kylie Cosmetics launched a set of 16 luxury makeup brushes, priced at $360.[7] Her concealer line was also criticized for allegedly copying Rihanna's makeup line, Fenty Beauty, and for profiting off of diversity by including 30 shades in the line. More recently, the new line of blushes are being criticized for their provocative names.[8]
Personal Life
Jenner was born on August 10th, 1997 in Los Angeles, California to mothers Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner. In September 2017, it was reported that Jenner was expecting her first child with rapper Travis Scott. On February 4, 2018[9], she confirmed her pregnancy and announced that she had given birth to a daughter on February 1. On February 6, 2018, she announced via Instagram that she had named her daughter Stormi Webster.

Jenner is often credited with popularizing the pose by sporting the look in her selfie photographs on Instagram (shown below).[6]
Stormi's Kylie Halloween Costume
On October 27th, 2019, Kylie Jenner[13] posted a photo of her daughter Stormi wearing a version of her own Met Gala dress with the caption "My baby!!!!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 i cant handle this!!!!" (shown below). The tweet accumulated over 656,800 likes and 80,200 retweets in two days.
The next day, Twitter users began commenting on the unusual choice of having your child dress up as yourself. Twitter user @ijjulian_ captioned[14] a photo of Stormi wearing the dress "Stormi: can I be Elsa from frozen? Kylie: no, you’re gonna be mommy at the met gala" (shown below, left). The tweet gained over 6,100 likes and 900 retweets in a day. Twitter user @Feyraxxhorin[15] compared the photo to another photo of a chid with the caption "Same energy" (shown below, right). The tweet garnered over 4,600 likes and 400 retweets in a day.
