La Pequeña Hillary Clinton is a parody presidential campaign sketch created by Chilean comedian and TV personality Felipe Avello, and starring an unknown little person dressed in costume as the Presidential candidate. The videos, which were released in 2008 during Clinton's first run for president, are one of the classic political memes of the early 2000s.
Origin
Felipe Avello is a standup comedian in Chile who recruited a little person to act as Hillary Clinton for a video series in 2008. The first video, shown below in a mirrored re-upload, had the unknown person dressed in a conservative power suit and other costumes, and proclaiming himself to be "The little Hillary Clinton." In some of their videos, a mysterious character in bondage called "Machine" (a reference to the 1999 film 8 MM, and played by Avello himself) not only dances but also rubs all over her.
Spread
Originally released in 2008, the videos became popular not only in Chile but also in the US, where it was featured on blogs like Wonkette and on the E! network. Although his identity is still unknown, this charismatic little fella in drag has not only impersonated Hillary, but also Amy Winehouse, Sara Palin, Shania Twain, Britney Spears and even Hulk.
