Lagtrain is a Japanese animated music video by the artist inabakumori[1] (also known as Inaba Cumori), which uses the vocaloid Kaai Yuki.[2] The video has been used as an animation meme, in which the music video's main character is changed as well as who's singing the song.

Origin

The original video was posted to YouTube by inabakumori on July 16th, 2020 and currently has gained over 13 million views in over two years (shown below).



Spread

On August 29th, 2020, YouTube artist suzie posted their version of the video, which uses Kasane Teto and UTAU software. The video (shown below) has over 500,000 views.



On January 30th, 2021, YouTuber Pulish Yuro posted a video in which he choreographs the original video's movements in person. The video (shown below, left) has over 160,000 views. He later followed up with a video comparing his movements and the original video's on March 28th, 2021, which has received over 381,000 views (shown below, right).



On July 27th, 2021, vTuber Asahina Akane posted their version to YouTube which uses her own vocals and animation. The video (shown below) has over 230,000 views.
