Lethal Company Hero refers to a viral TikTok video of a Lethal Company player running after a monster that captured his friend, screaming Give Him Back! He's Mine! The clip became the subject of parodies and fan artwork in early December 2023 on TikTok and Twitter / X.

Origin

One of the earliest posts of the "Lethal Company Hero meme" was uploaded on December 7th, 2023, by TikTok[1] user @that.one.f3gitier, who shared a gameplay video of the Lethal Company co-op game in which one of his friends was taken by a monster and he chases him screaming, "Give him back! He's mine!" The video (shown below) amassed roughly 2 million plays and 367,000 likes in a week.

Shortly after the clip was posted on the internet, parodies and edits started to appear on social media. For instance, on December 7th, 2023, YouTuber[2] @MrCluckzz posted a short animation inspired by the original clip (shown below, left), which amassed more than 94,000 views and 6,400 likes in a week. On December 10th, YouTuber[3] @FruitGummyi posted his version of the meme (shown below, right) which received roughly 4,300 views and 102 likes in six days.
