Mambo Oh Yeah or Dudi Dudi Dam Dam refers to a viral video of a chibi version of Matikanetannhauser from Uma Musume Pretty Derby dancing with chickens to a version of the Indonesian kids song "Du Di Dam" by Papa T Bob. The video purportedly originates from the Chinese social media site BiliBili and started spreading online throughout 2024, often categorized as brainrot. The video continued to go viral in January 2025, inspiring the use of "mambo oh yeah," which can be heard in the song, as a catchphrase.

Origin

On September 12th, 2024, YouTuber[1] OhNyoClips posted an animation of Matikanetannhauser from Uma Musume Pretty Derby dancing and singing to a version of "Du Di Dam" by Papa T Bob,[2] garnering over 116,000 views in four months. It is unclear where the video was originally posted and by who, with some claiming it originated on the Chinese social media app BiliBili.



Spread

The video garnered viral spread over the following months, particularly on TikTok. On November 18th, 2024, TikToker[3] @dudi.dudi.dam.dam8 started posting daily memes using the video, with a December 9th upload to TikTok[4] garnering over 700,000 views in a month.

In January 2025, "mambo oh yeah," which can be heard in the song, became a popular spam comment on TikTok.
