Mulholland Drive Diner Scene refers to a scene from David Lynch's 2001 film Mulholland Drive in which a man tells his therapist about a nightmare he had at a Winkie's Diner. In the nightmare, he confronts a threatening man behind the diner who terrifies him. He tells his therapist he wanted to go to the diner to confront his nightmare in waking life. However, the remainder of the scene plays out as he described in the dream, ending with a grotesque-looking man jumping out from a wall behind the diner. The moment has become an exploitable where the grotesque man is replaced with various humorous objects one might be horrified by.

Mulholland Drive was released on October 8th, 2001.^[1] The "Winkie's" scene has been uploaded to YouTube several times, including by Gogol on April 28th, 2013, gaining over 800,000 views (shown below).
