On February 6th, 2024, TikTok content creator @officialgahmir^[1] uploaded a video commenting on the pose of a retail store mannequin, saying "My bitch pose is nasty. Don't ever play with the cat." The video (seen below) amassed more than 14 million plays and 2.9 million likes in nine months.

Over the next few months, @officialgahmir's soundbite on TikTok amassed over 132,000 other videos using his catchphrase for comedic content related to unique poses made by users or their pets. For example, on May 221st, 2024, TikTok^[2] user @bagellover9111 posted a video of their cat wearing a cute hat (seen below), amassing over 12 million plays and 3 million likes in five months.

The catchphrase also inspired jokes and memes on X, former Twitter. For instance, on August 10th, 2024, X^[3] user @Coolness941 posted a picture of American singer Beyoncé (seen below), captioning "My b*tch pose is NASTY!" The tweet received roughly 22,000 likes and 2,200 reposts in three months.
