My Cum Collection is a catchphrase used on images of white liquids that visibly resemble semen, which also spawned a Noooo, My X Collection snowclone. The catchphrase originates from an image posted in March 2020, with a snowclone based on a viral version of the meme gaining popularity in late 2020.

Origin

On March 20th, 2020, Redditor pbaxddd posted a screenshot of a Team Fortress 2 backpack filled with 25 cans of white paint, captioned "My Cum Collection." The post (shown below) received over 2,900 upvotes in the /r/tf2shitposterclub^[1] subreddit in six months.

Spread

On March 23rd, 2020, Facebook^[2] page Team de la meme Fortress reposted the image, with the post gaining over 800 reactions and 260 shares.

On April 13th, 2020, Instagram^[3] user digitalmeddle posted a mock-up of a vintage children's book titled "I spilled my cum collection!" The post (shown below, right) received over 5,000 likes in one year.

The catchphrase did not see use as a snowclone until in early June 2020 an unknown user posted an image of a man lying on the ground, an unknown white liquid spilling out of dropped grocery bag in front of him, captioned, "Noooooooooooooo my cum collection" (shown below, right). On June 10th, 2020, VK^[4] page дверь закройте уважаемый made the earliest discovered repost of the image. The image used in the meme saw viral use in 2016.^[5]

In the following months, the image has been actively circulated, with multiple reposts on Instagram,^[6] Reddit^[7] and other sites. On July 2nd, 2020, VK^[8] user Valve Mount posted the earliest known remake of the image, a Team Fortress 2 meme that gained over 160 likes in nine months (shown below, left). On November 19th, Twitter^[9] user @anonssobakoi posted the earliest known meme that used the captioned image as a snowclone format (shown below, right).

In late 2020 and 2021, the image saw moderate use online both as a snowclone format and a source material for remakes and redraws.
