My Disappointment Is Immeasurable And My Day Is Ruined is a memorable quote from TheReportOfTheWeek's review of Popeyes' cheddar biscuit butterfly shrimp. After the video was posted online, a screenshot was used as a reaction image and the text was used as a copypasta expressing disappointment.
Origin
On July 4th, 2017, TheReportOfTheWeek uploaded a video review of Popeyes' cheddar biscuit butterfly shrimp. After taking a bite of the shrimp, the host Reviewbrah says, "My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined." The video has gained over 515,000 views (shown below).
Hours later, Twitter[4] user @mayorofkenya responded to Reviewbrah's tweet about the episode with a screen shot of Reviewbrah saying the line (shown below).
Spread
The following day, a screenshot of the moment was posted to /r/TheReportOfTheWeek[1], where it gained over 210 upvotes. On August 14th, YouTuber Mortienus uploaded the isolated clip to YouTube, which gained over 440,000 views (shown below).
On October 6th, 2017, a screenshot of the moment with the dialogue was posted to /r/me_irl,[2] gaining over 2,100 upvotes (shown below, left). The screenshot would later be used with different captions to express disappointment. For example, a post on /r/meirl[3] from December 8th, 2017 with the caption "When you carry your pet into your room and it just walks out" gained over 1,100 upvotes (shown below, right).
In addition to the moment being used as a reaction image, the quote saw use in Reddit threads expressing disappointment. A post from December 24th, 2017 showing a poorly-made Lego version of BB-8 from Star Wars used the quote as its title, gaining 37 upvotes (shown below, left). A post showing a GIF from World of Warcraft posted to the /r/wow subreddit on February 10th, 2018 gained over 8,100 upvotes (shown below, right).
