My Heart! I Loved Her! refers to a series of videos which parody a viral TikTok in which a boy loudly screams "My heart! I loved her!" and proceeds to cry. In the parodies, the scream is dubbed or imitated with various sounds.

Origin

On December 10th, 2020, TikTok[1] user theycravebraden uploaded a black-and-white video in which he screams "My heart! I loved her!" and proceeds to cry. The TikTok received over 13.1 million views and 1.3 million likes in two weeks (shown below).

On December 14th, 2020, TikTok[2] user itsnottristen posted a TikTok duet in which they timed Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode" to theycravebraden's cries. The TikTok received over 2.7 million views and 650,000 views in one week (shown below).

On the same day, TikTok[3] user jasmineaparviz posted a parody duet in which she replaced the screams with vacuum cleaner noise. The post received over 3.7 million views and 906,000 likes in one week (shown below, left). On December 15th, 2020, TikTok[4] user calebgeester posted a duet in which they used a water tap to imitate the screams, with the post gaining over 2 million views and 354,000 likes (shown below, right).

Starting on December 15th, the parody duet trend gained viral popularity on TikTok, with users dubbing the video as various characters and imitating the screams with various objects. A number of viral duets were reposted by users on Twitter, Instagram[5] and other platforms.
