About

My X Is Good, the Algorithm Just Ignores Me refers to a snowclone used in a series of posts, mostly on Twitter / X, shared by creators who insist that social media algorithms are to blame for their work's obscurity. The most common uses of the phrasal template are My Art Is Good, the Algorithm Just Ignores Me and My Game Is Good, the Algorithm Just Ignores Me, used by artists and indie video game developers, respectively. The phrase was first used on X in late July 2025 and regained use in late October and early November 2025. Several parodies of the tweets spread the catchphrases' uses memetically, in which internet users paired it with objectively bad or absurd artwork or gameplay footage.

Origin

On July 23rd, 2025, X[1] user @ViviV_Z_Ra tweeted, "My art is good, the algorithm just ignores me," repeating it several times in a vertical text stack. Over four months, the post received roughly 4,800 likes.
