About
Notch head, also known as I-approve, is a meme where people stick a photograph of Markus "Notch" Persson, creator of minecraft, onto various other images. Sometimes it may be animated, or the head may not be attached to any other image.
Origins
The meme began June 23rd 2010 with the creation of a "Make your avatar notch's head week" on the Minecraft Forums. The event Occcured again slightly under 1 year later on notch's birthday, June 1st 2011.
Derivative
Several SWF files have been created involving notch's head, such as Party Time and Notch Singing. A more direct reaction to the 2010 event can be seen here.
