Pablo is a fan-made Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong character often said to be the star of the third game in the Hollow Knight series, depicted as a bug in a green cloak with a football-shaped head and a hammer. The character was created by X / Twitter user and artist @RealDazzen in early September 2025 and inspired more pieces of fan art and memes about the character over the following days.

Origin

On September 4th, 2025, X^[1] user @RealDazzen posted a piece of Hollow Knight fan art drawing The Knight (the protagonist of Hollow Knight), Hornet (the protagonist of Silksong) and a third, non-existent character with a football-shaped head, a green cloak and a large hammer. The post reads, "hollow knight, silksong and pablo." It garnered over 126,000 likes and 9,800 reposts in just under two weeks.

Spread

Pablo inspired numerous pieces of fan art and memes over the following days in early September 2025 on sites including X, Reddit and Instagram.

On September 7th, 2025, X^[2] user @SleakJ3 posted a photo of a computer screen with the icons for both _Hollow Knight _ games and a third icon for Pablo's non-existent, self-titled game, writing, "Finally, I have them all," garnering over 293,000 likes in a week.

On September 8th, X^[3] user @Picsel326 posted an expanded version of the fan art, adding another character named Manuel, garnering over 81,000 likes in a week.

On September 11th, Instagram^[4] user chorilate posted a realistic drawing of Pablo that gained about 100 likes in four days.

On September 12th, 2025, X^[5] user @SleakJ3 posted a mockup of the cover art for Pablo's imagined game, garnering over 168,000 likes and 11,000 reposts in three days.

On September 14th, it was reposted to the /r/Silksong^[6] subreddit, garnering over 1,400 upvotes in a day.

Later that day, X^[7] user @kinomotoroka posted fan art featuring Pablo that gained over 39,000 likes in a day.

Also on September 14th, 2025, X^[8] user @SucumbaGames posted a version of the Flaming Horse Rating meme about each of the Hollow Knight games, including Pablo's game, garnering over 28,000 likes in a day.
