Padmé Amidala Naberrie, commonly called simply Padmé, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. In-universe, she is a politician from the planet of Naboo, serving as its elected queen and later its senator. She is also the wife of Anakin Skywalker, together with whom she had two children, Luke and Leia.

In Star Wars media, Padmé is portrayed by Natalie Portman in the Prequel Film Trilogy and voiced by Catherine Taber in The Clone Wars TV series. She is a common element within Prequel Memes where people frequently make jokes about her status as a politician, her peculiar sexual relationship with Anakin, and her seemingly pathetic death.
