Overview

AC Flow, real name Archibald/Archie Cardella, is a British musician and social media personality based out of London, U.K. The creator first went viral on TikTok under the moniker AC Flow for his song "Flow (Woah)." Soon after the release of his music, 22-year-old AC Flow came to be called a cringeworthy "nonce" by his followers for his alleged romantic involvement with a 16-year girl. In consecutive months Flow continued to cater his content exclusively to his teenage fans, gaining him the notoriety of being compared to fellow British lolcow Paul Breach.

Online History

Cardella's earliest known uploads to TikTok were posted from the account @acflow__,^[1] while his primary TikTok @ac.flow has been deactivated as of April 24, 2023. However, some early viral videos from his page can be accessed via Duets, and show Cardella's rise to fame and notoriety in December 2022. ^[2][3] The videos depict Cardella's earliest viral hits and his supposedly wealthy Tory background.

Allegations / Controversy

Racism

On December 22nd, TikToker @user337127322 posted the deleted video of AC Flow doing a racist impression, gathering over 35,000 plays and 400 likes (seen below, left). On January 21st, 2023, TikToker @mushroombroom posted a video Cardella responded to accusations of racism on his TikTok Live, gathering over 200,000 plays and 18,000 likes (seen below, right).

Involvement With A 16-Year-Old

In December 2022, 22-year-old Cardella began responding to criticism from his followers for dating a 16-year-old high schooler. On December 22nd, TikToker^[4] @user9139193097010 posted a now-deleted video of Liberty Love, the high schooler in question, denying that she lied to Cardella about her age. On December 23rd, TikToker^[5] @isisgastonicespice posted a now-deleted video of Cardella admitting that Love did not lie about her age to him (seen below, right).

Cardella went on to go on TikTok Live to defend himself against accusations of being a "nonce" for the next consecutive weeks. On January 20th, TikToker^[6] @isisgastonicespice posted a video of AC Flow's live, gathering over 1 million views and 190,000 likes (seen below, left). On January 21st, 2023, TikToker^[7] @realzz.rapzz posted a video calling AC Flow "AC Breach," in reference to another British TikToker known for messaging young girls (seen below, right).

Flowies / Young Fans

AC Flow also receives criticism for catering to a young fan base despite his music being sexually explicit. On April 2nd, 2023, TikToker^[8] @topicscentral posted a video compilation showing a failed attempt by AC Flow to arrange a fan meet-up, gathering over 1.3 million plays and 100,000 likes in three weeks (seen below, left). On April 13th, TikToker^[9] @shittykitty1357 posted a video stitching a AC Flow meet up with his young fans, gathering over 190,000 plays and 35,000 likes in a week (seen below, right).

AC Flow Gets Jumped

In April 2023, AC Flow reportedly got attacked by a 10 grader. On April 14th, 2023, TikToker^[10] @josh162800 posted a Snapchat recording of a fight supposedly featuring Cardella and his attacker, gathering over 39,000 plays and 400 likes (seen below).
