About

Hennessy Marie is a Miami-based, transgender influencer on Twitter (@hennessytells) and Instagram (@hennessymariagain) who in October 2022 became known for exposing straight men from Miami and Broward County, Florida for having intercourse with her and sending her explicit messages including dick pics. Her reputation for exposing men became notorious in late 2022, sparking memes on Twitter and TikTok. Many Broward county rappers and hip-hop artists were included in the exposure including F.O.B. Pook. Many of the men started posting lie detector test and polygraph videos in response. She is said to be originally from New York City.

Online History

It's unknown when Hennessy Marie started posting to social media, however, her flurry of posting and exposing straight men started on October 12th, 2022, on her Instagram Story. She started exposing men who'd engaged with her sexually, starting with Broward county rapper F.O.B. Pook (screen-recording shown below).


On October 13th, 2022, she spread her posting to Twitter when she tweeted[1] a video of a young Black man sleeping, captioning it, "BDπŸ˜‹," which is an abbreviation for "Baby Daddy," as in, someone's baby daddy that she was exposing. In less than a day, the video received roughly 273,200 views (shown below).


Throughout the day on October 13th, 2022, Hennessy Marie continued to post photos, videos, screenshots and screen-recordings to Twitter[2] of men that had engaged with her under the pretense of sex. She parallel posted all of her tweets to Instagram as well. Marie tweeted,[3] "yes i fucked Pook. twice," on October 13th, 2022, again, in reference to Broward county rapper F.O.B. Pook. The tweet received over 850 likes in a day (shown below).

Reactions and Memes

Across social media, memes and reactions surfaced, predominantly stemming from Miami-based internet users who joked about seeing someone they knew on Hennesy Marie's feed. For instance, on October 13th, 2022, the Instagram[4] page niggabehoesokay posted a text-post that read, "ATTENTION! All my ladies in miami..pls check on yo nigha," and gained mass engagement (shown below, left). Also on October 13th, Twitter[5] user nolimitbrown captioned a George Bush learning about 9/11 meme with, "Hennessy just exposed you zoe," gaining over 4,000 likes in less than a day (shown below, right).

The discourse then spread to TikTok where users started discussing Hennessy Marie's posts as well. For instance, on October 13th, TikToker[6] selenagomezstanaccount outlined what the Hennessy Marie discourse was all about and why he found it funny, gaining roughly 224,000 plays and 12,200 likes in less than a day (shown below, left). Also on October 13th, TikToker[7] ddaniedition posted a video with text overlay reading, "me after seeing my hb getting exposed by Hennessy marie." The video earned roughly 149,500 plays and 5,900 likes in less than a day (shown below, right).

Developments

Hennessy Marie Admits to Not Revealing That She Was Trans

On October 13th, 2022, discourse surfaced about an Instagram Live that purportedly exposed Hennessy Marie for not revealing to the men that she was trans. A screen-recording of the Instagram Live was reposted by Twitter[8] user Ashleytuneeee, gaining roughly 138,300 views in less than a day (shown below).


Lie Detector Tests and Polygraphs

On October 13th, 2022, Instagram[9] user daplugs_plug_, also known as JAH KING, posted photos and videos to his account of him taking a lie detector test following the allegations from Hennessy Marie (shown below, left). Screenshots of his Instagram story were shared by Twitter[10] user kokonobutta, whose tweet received roughly 6,300 likes in one day (shown below, right).

A video of daplugs_plug_ taking a like detector test also surfaced on Twitter, gaining roughly 62,100 views in one day (shown below). Additionally, Instagram[11] user ap__nowatch, also known as AP, was also brought into the Hennessy Marie exposure and also took a lie detector test, posting it and then deleting it on Instagram.[12]
