Jacob Colvin is an American YouTuber known for wildlife and comedy videos shot in the Pacific Northwest.
Online History
Early Videos
Jacob Colvin launched his YouTube account in 2018. His first videos did not reflect his later wildlife videos and comedy sketches. Instead, these early videos were instructional lessons on gaining TikTok followers and producing viral photographs. Published on June 5th, 2018, Colvin's first video, "Create Viral Photos Lightroom (Session 1)," received more than 15,000 views in less than three years (shown below, left). The following year, on April 5th, 2019, he published "How To Get 1000+ Followers on TikTok – 2019." The post received more than 44,000 views in less than two years (shown below, right).
Wildlife Videos
In February 2019, Colvin launched a TikTok channel. Unlike his early work, these videos prominently featured the nature surrounding Colvin's home. His first video received more than 123,000 views, 17,000 reactions and 680 comments in less than three years (shown below).

In the coming months, Colvin would continue to expand his nature focus, posting videos in which he would claim to "rescue" small animals he found on the beach. On March 21st, 2019, for example, he published "Rescuing A Crab." The post received more than 800,000 views, 133,000 reactions and 825 comments in less than two years (shown below, left).
The following week, he published a video in which he showed off a "wild clam." The video would be his first to reach one million views. Within two years, the video received more than 3.4 million views, 572,000 reactions and 4,700 comments in less than two years (shown below, right).

On May 19th, 2019, Colvin began publishing environment and wildlife videos on YouTube. The first, "Why Are Plastic Straws SO BAD," received more than 837,000 views in less than two years (shown below, left).
Later that year, Colvin published his popular YouTube video as of March 2021. The video, "Rescuing Cute Animals Compilation," which strung together a series of TikToks. The post received more than 17 million views in less than one year (shown below, right).
