Leon Lush is an American commentary YouTuber who specializes in critiquing internet celebritites, viral videos, and trends. By January 2019 he has over 1 million subscribers and 69 million views.
History
Leon started his channel in 2006 and originally started out making acoustic covers of popular songs. His first one being a cover of Wyclef Jean's "Sweetest Girl"(below, left), and his most popular one being his cover of Johnny Cash's rendition of "Hurt"(below, right) which has over 400,000 views.
It is in 2016 where his channel really grew in notoriety, including participating with other commentary YouTubers like ColossalIsCrazy, which he cites in his song "Dear Keemstar"(below, top left), Keemstar, and others. Early videos dabbling in this genre discussed major internet and mainstrema celebrities of the time such as Kylie Jenner(below, top right), LeafyIsHere(below, bottom left) and Ricegum(below, bottom right)
Over time his notoriety within the community grown and to date he has become one of the biggest channels in the genre, with the most viewed of his videos being "These Youtubers Are Pretending They're Dying" a video covering the saga of xtremegamez and their claims to have been dying from kidney disease and other vague illnesses only to claim that their lives were saved by a chiropractor(whown below, top right) and multiple other videos of his reaching views in the millions.
