She made her screen debut with Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac and continued to be in the public eye after marrying actor Shia LaBeouf in 2016 and having a child with him in 2022. She grew to mainstream fame after starring in the A24 films X and Pearl. A scene of her screaming "I'm a star" popularized as a TikTok sound in the fall of 2022.

Career

Mia Goth began her career as a model at age 14 after she was discovered by a fashion photographer in London. She appeared in advertisements for Vogue and Miu Miu that were eventually pulled for looking "inappropriate" despite the model being aged 22 at the time (seen below).^[1]

She began auditioning for films at age 16 and landed her first role in Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac in 2013.^[2] Mia Goth began dating Shia Labeouf while filming for Nymphomaniac in 2012, and the two got married in 2016.^[3] They got divorced in 2018 but supposedly reconciled in 2022, with Goth giving birth to their daughter, Isabel, in March 2022.^[4]
