Lewis Wilson better known online as PolarSaurusRex is an English content creator known for his gaming commentary videos and comedy sketches. Lewis has 729,000 subscribers as of November 3rd, 2025.

Origin

PolarSaurusRex [1] posted his first video in February 2015, about a Halo Reach Mods Showcase, he started of his channel with the username "Goldyx9" on February 14, 2015. He primarily made Halo videos, where he would use mods. Where he would storytime videos along with gaming. (shown below).



Lewis's most popular video was uploaded on March 4th, 2019, called "Everyone in 2009 when Shepard betrayed you." The video has received more then 11,200,000 million views in less than 6 years (shown below).

PolarSaurusRex started to get popular because of his series called "Memes Of The Month" where at the end of each month, Lewis talks about meme that were popular during that month. He posted the first Memes Of The Month" video in January 2018 (shown below).

On November 20th, 2018, PolarSaurusRex posted the video "British guy gets mad at new EU copyright law." which his a skit how the EU won't let Lewis use images, sounds or images in a video, caused Lewis to get mad. The post received more than 134,000 views in less than two years (shown below).



On January 1st, 2020, Redditor [2] givemeyourbankdetail posted the image on the /r/memeeconomy subreddit (shown below, left). . They captioned the image as the response to "Friend: Actually, the decade ends in 2021."

The following day, Redditor[3] herdcollege posted the image with the caption "Costa Rica: Declares war on Germany in WW1."
The post received more than 5,500 points (99% upvoted) and 70 comments in less than one week (shown below, center).

On January 3rd, Redditor[4] HDragon_ shared the image with the caption "AD: Only 5% can beat this level." The post received more than 36,000 points (96% upvoted) and 160 comments in less than four days (shown below, right).
