About

Chills is the online handle for a Canadian YouTuber named Dylan, last name unknown. He is best known for his style of narration and countdown videos relating to unsettling and supernatural themes. Since his debut on YouTube on April 3rd, 2014 with his channel named "Top15s," he has since garnered a large following on the video-sharing platform, particularly for the video which launched the Burger King Foot Lettuce meme.

Online History

Dylan first began his YouTube channel on April 3rd, 2014, called "Top15s."[6] His first video was uploaded on Dec 25th, 2014, titled "Top 15 TRUE Scary Stories That Will Make You CRINGE" gaining 7 million views as of 2020. (shown left, below). His most viewed video as of 2020 is "15 YouTubers That Tragically Died," uploaded on October 15th, 2015, with 18 million views. (shown right, below)



He launched his personal channel on May 21st, 2016.[5] His first video, titled "9 Disturbing Fairy Tales From Around The World", was uploaded on June 15th and received 2 million views as of 2020 (shown left, below). His most popular video, titled "11 Scariest Things Caught By Drones", accumulated 75 million views as of 2020. (shown right, below)



Burger King Foot Lettuce

Burger King Foot Lettuce refers to a viral video in which Chills discusses unsolved mysteries and events investigated by 4chan users. In the video, he describes a crime in which a Burger King employee photographed himself atop bins of lettuce and later uploaded it to the /b/ board[4] where his location was discovered and reported to the restaurant and newscasters. Online, it has been widely parodied and remixed, particularly in the first half of 2018.



No Context Chills

No Context Chills refers to clips of Chills/Top15s videos snipped from their original context and executed in a way that makes it appear nonsensical to the viewer. The Twitter account @ChillsNoContext launched in April of 2019, and its clips have since been uploaded to various YouTube channels.

Chills / Top15's Imitation Parodies refers to videos in which people imitate the voice, vocal cadence, and style of Chills' voice for comedic effect (examples shown below).

Dylan was born on January 31, 1998, in Canada.[1] He currently resides in Calgary, in the providence of Alberta.[2] On November 16th, 2016, Dylan uploaded a face reveal on his social media accounts.[3] He also has a rap career, and regularly releases music videos on his personal channel (shown below).
