Chills / Top15's Imitation Parodies refers to videos parodying the YouTuber Chills / Top 15's, including the style of his videos, his voice, and the way in which he speaks.

Origin

The earliest Chills / Top15's parody on YouTube^[1] was uploaded on September 13th, 2016 by PacLives (shown below, left) followed by a video uploaded to YouTube^[2] on January 27th, 2018 (shown below, right). Neither video gained significant attention, but both features attempted imitations of Chills' voice and manner of speech.

On September 8th, 2018, dongmanmemes69 uploaded a Minecraft-themed parody of Chills' song "Sidelined" to his Instagram^[3] and YouTube^[4] pages, garnering over 11,000 views on the latter in 2 years (shown below, left). On November 13th, Voice Of An Angle uploaded a Chills parody to YouTube^[5] garnering over 59,000 views in a comparable span of time (shown below, right).

On January 12th, 2019, PolarSaurusRex uploaded a Chills parody to YouTube^[6] garnering over 160,000 views in 2 years (shown below, left). On May 11th, 2019, aksually uploaded a parody titled "Every Chills Video Ever" to YouTube^[14] garnering over 926,000 views in a year and a half (shown below, right).

GenSen Horror Narrator Parodies / TikTok Parodies

On May 8th, 2019, GenSen Horror Narrator uploaded a video to YouTube^[7] titled "Chills Top 15 Moments" in which he makes an ironic "Chills-style" video where he says absurd things in a noticeably accurate Chills imitation, garnering over 9,400 views in over a year (shown below, left). He uploaded a follow-up to this video on July 13th with another Chills parody^[8] (shown below, right) this time garnering over 32,600 views in a comparable span of time. On July 20th, GenSen Horror Narrator started a TikTok account named originalgensen, and began uploading clips from these videos to it.

On January 13th, 2020, GenSen Horror Narrator uploaded "Chills/Top15's Ultimate 15 Parody," to YouTube^[9] (shown below). This is the most popular video in the series, with over 45,000 views in just under a year. As of January 11th, GenSen Horror Narrator has uploaded 8 Chills parodies total.

On August 30th, 2020, originalgensen uploaded a video to TikTok^[10] where he holds a carton of Muscle Milk and, in a Chills voice, says, "Have you ever drinken a protein shake and got the shitties?" followed by fake feces shooting into a toilet, garnering over 1.2 million views in 5 months (shown below, left). On August 31st originalgensen posted a video^[11] saying "number 12 I farded on my poopies" in his Chills voice at the request of a commenter, garnering over 1.5 million views in a comparable span of time (shown below, right).

Originalgensen continued to upload Chills parodies to his TikTok page, with many garnering tens and hundreds of thousands of views. On December 18th, he uploaded a video to TikTok^[12] with the caption "true story" in which he says in his Chills imitation, "I just got my penis stuck in a Chinese finger trap. There's only one thing left to do. Gonna have to cut the whole wiener off" then zooms in on a pair of scissors, garnering over 4.2 million views in under a month (shown below, left). On December 25th he uploaded a video to TikTok^[13] in which he walks into the bathroom saying, "I know I'm not the only one who puts their ass cheeks against the walls in the shower and farts, that way it reverberates and is extra loud" garnering over 2.4 million views in a comparable span of time (shown below, right). These are the two most popular Chills parodies on TikTok as of January 11th, 2021.
