About

SNVRK (pronounced SNARK), born Caleb Gottfried on September 16th, 2006, is an American rapper, stuntman, fashion designer, entrepreneur, 2029 New York City mayoral candidate, and internet visionary. Known for blending hip-hop with numerology, guerrilla marketing, and high-visibility orange aesthetics, SNVRK became a mainstream cult figure in the mid-2020s. His debut album SNVRKOLEPSY and rollout campaigns such as Ticketstorm (a mass flyer stunt disguised as 100,000 parking tickets) have made him a frequent subject of memes, speculation, and fan myth-making across social media.

Background

SNVRK was born in Brooklyn, New York. After his parents’ divorce, he grew up on a mix of NYC swag era culture, early 2010s internet (Vine, pre-2013 YouTube, GTA V, agar.io, SoundCloud), and music from The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, and Kanye West. In 2023, at age 17, he began producing professional-level tracks independently. In 2024, he briefly interacted with Playboi Carti, who offered him a spot in Opium before blocking him days later. This betrayal became the central narrative thread of SNVRKOLEPSY.

Musical History

2011–2019 (Early Influences): Absorbed the rise of SoundCloud rap, internet memes, and NYC street culture.

2023 (Breakthrough): Began releasing label-quality music independently, building a small but loyal fanbase.

2024 (Carti Fallout): Contact with Playboi Carti ended abruptly, activating the Anticarti mythology.

2025 (Preparation): Announced SNVRKOLEPSY and began stockpiling a year’s worth of content for a delayed rollout.

2026 (SNVRK Week): A series of overlapping stunts and releases including SNVRKOLEPSY, Ticketstorm, and music videos, -- all of which solidified SNVRK’s reputation as one of the most disruptive artists of his generation.

Online Presence

SNVRK maintains a layered online identity, posting across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and Reddit. His websites (such as snvrk.com and snvrkolepsy.com) act as lore hubs. Supporters organize under the nickname SNVRMY, with /r/SNVRK functioning as a hub for memes, theories, and rollouts. His use of alt handles like 3.3percent adds to the mythos.

Impact and Memes

Ticketstorm: A guerrilla campaign involving tens of thousands of fake orange parking tickets placed on cars in NYC. The phrase “Check your windshield” became a meme shorthand.

Anticarti: Meme framing of SNVRK as the exact duality of Playboi Carti -- inverting vamp energy but flipping it into hi-vis orange “Ticketcore.”

SNVRK Week: The coordinated June 2026 rollout when multiple SNVRK stunts, music videos, and drops collided. Fans online describe it as “the moment SNVRK went from underground to inevitable.”

Numerology & Lore: Fans often joke about needing a “user manual” to follow SNVRK’s career due to his obsession with 33, 3.3%, and prophetic dates.

Legacy

Whether discussed seriously as a Grammy-level independent or ironically as ‘the parking ticket rapper,’ SNVRK occupies a unique space in online culture -- equal parts prophet, prankster, and performer.
