Save Jesus Christ

On January 6th, 2019, a video titled "I need your help!" was uploaded to the Jesus Christ YouTube channel (shown below). In the video, he asks viewers to donate to his Patreon[2] page to fund a custody battle against his ex-wife, who he claims belongs to a "religious organization" that he escaped. Following the video, many speculated that the organization was a cult that his ex-wife belongs to.

In response to the video, fans of SoCal Christ began posting the message "Save Jesus Christ" on YouTube videos. On January 7th, Redditor trashbagtrash submitted a post titled "What's up with the 'Save Jesus Christ' comments all over youtube?" to /r/OutOfTheLoop,[4] where it garnered more than 1,300 points (91% upvoted) and 110 comments within 11 hours.

Awkward Mystery

This will sound mean.. But I have to see both sides of the story. For all we know he’s crazy around his kids or something. And some of the comments are saying that his kids were on there moms side yesterday.. All of those comments saying that are gone.. I hope he’s telling the truth, but something Serious like this needs more looking into. Let’s not call his wife a monster into we know both sides. I hope everything is works out for the kids. I think he might be a good person. But you never know. None of us know him in real life.
