Trade Me Project refers to a series of TikTok videos inspired by One Red Paperclip in which Demi Skipper attempts to trade up from a bobby pin to a house over a series of trades.
History
On May 18th, 2020, TikTok user @TradeMeProject, real name Demi Skipper, posted her first video, explaining that she was inspired by the One Red Paperclip project, and that she was working to trade up from a bobby pin to a house.

Over the course of a week, the channel surged in popularity, gaining over 1.4 million followers.[1] As of May 26th, 2020, she has traded up to a snowboard. She told Daily Dot[2] that she believed that she hoped to trade up to a house by her 30th video.
