TrapCeleb is an American YouTuber known for his comedy skits and characters. The creator went viral in early 2023 on TikTok after several clips of his streams playing GTA V, Resident Evil, Life Is Strange and other games became trending audios on the platform, such as the Is You LGB 'Cause Your Gun Pink? meme that went viral in February 2023.

History

TrapCeleb, whose first name is Ron, joined YouTube^[1] on December 19th, 2016. His earliest video^[2] on the channel, however, dates back to January 22nd, 2021, and shows him and a friend trolling people on the now-dead Omegle video platform. The video (shown below) amassed 284,000 views and 14,000 likes in three years.

Over the following years, the creator became known for streaming games on YouTube while impersonating funny characters and personas. For example, one of his most watched streams^[3] was posted on March 2nd, 2021, in which he played GTA Online alongside some friends (shown below), amassing more than 1.4 million views and 38,000 likes in three years.

Online Presence

In late 2022 and early 2023, several TrapCeleb clips became viral TikTok sounds and memes. For instance, on December 10th, 2022, TikTok^[4] user @girlionkno__ uploaded a clip of the YouTuber playing Life Is Strange in which he says the line, “I don't know nothing about that.” The post (shown below, left) received over 957,000 plays,188,000 likes and 4,000 other videos were posted using it as a sound for POV comedy skits.

On October 10th, 2023, TikTok^[5] user @ryutheicon uploaded a TrapCeleb clip in which he was playing the horror game Poppy Playtime and says the line, "What is it finna play" after putting a VHS to play in the game. The moment (shown below, right) became a popular TikTok sound, amassing over 56,000 videos using the phrase in comedy skits and meme content.

"Is You LGB 'Cause Your Gun Pink?" is a catchphrase taken from a viral Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA 5) clip by YouTuber TrapCeleb that became a TikTok sound and meme in early 2023.
