Piss Jug Man is a fake mascot invented by the Celina 52 Truck Stop social media account, purporting to teach truckers about proper "urine jug" disposal. The character went viral on multiple social media hubs after being shared in mid-September 2023, leading to several jokes about Piss Jug Man.

Origin

On September 19th, 2023, the social media accounts for "Celina 52 Truck Stop" posted an image of "Piss Jug Man," an angry-looking mascot who purports to teach truckers about proper urine disposal. The most viral of these posts, on Twitter,^[1] their post gained over 7,400 retweets, 30,000 likes, and 1,800 quote tweets in one day (shown below).

It appears Piss Jug Man is not real, nor did it pose for photos with children, as the above tweet advertised. "Celina 52 Truck Stop" technically represents an actual truck stop in Tennessee^[2] that goes by a different name, and the reason for the online pseudonym is due to the pages' humorous and satiric content. Later on September 19th on Facebook,^[3] the page posted a photoshopped "photo" of Piss Jug Man with a motorcycle model (shown below).

After the tweet of Piss Jug Man was posted, it quickly inspired jokes on social media, often centering around Hideo Kojima games. Later on September 19th, 2023, the Twitter account mommliph posted a Metal Gear Solid Codec parody about the character, gaining over 200 retweets and 500 likes in one day (shown below, top). User @KrisWolfheart^[4] did the same, gaining over 120 retweets and 430 likes in a similar timeframe (shown below, bottom).

Others crafted parodies around "Piss Jug Man." For example, Twitter user @NightlifeMingus^[5] posted a Death Stranding parody about the character, gaining over 230 retweets and 1,000 likes in one day (shown below, left). On September 20th, user @JunoPolaris^[6] did the same, gaining over 40 likes in a matter of hours (shown below, right).
