President's Life Expectancy is an animation made for a scene from a Let's Play playthrough of the GameCube game Shadow the Hedgehog. The scene has seen several recreations, notably involving Pizza Tower boss character Pizzahead and his theme song, "Unexpectancy."

Origin

On March 28th, 2023, the GameCube game Shadow the Hedgehog was played on a Twitch stream by Lythero, and then reuploaded to YouTube.^[1] The re-upload also included several animations of different parts of the stream. One such animation (shown below) was animated by Zeurel and played near the end of the game, in which the president is in his plane and suddenly feels that his life expectancy is going to drop within the next ten minutes. The scene itself was uploaded to YouTube on April 27th, 2023,^[2] where it received over 1.1 million views in over nine months.

On April 27th, 2023, Reddit user Usual_Board_6750 posted a gif caption of the animation to r/PizzaTower which says "Pizzahead after witnessing Peppino beat the absolute shit out of his 4 strongest henchmen".^[3] The video received over 1,100 points in over nine months. The video (shown below, left) was reuploaded to YouTube by gnarp gnarp on May 1st, 2023, where it received over 828,000 views in over nine months. On May 15th, 2023, KaM posted a video that used the edited audio but also recreated the scene with Pizza Tower characters. The video (shown below, right) received over 189,000 views in over eight months.

On May 16th, YouTuber Cat Animation posted an animation of the scene that gained over 56,000 views in nine months (shown below, left). On June 7th, YouTuber FortressTeam2 posted an animation of the scene that gained over 52,000 views in eight months (shown below, right).
