The "Put It On Me" TikTok Dance, also known as She Gon Put That Pussy On Me or She Wanna Put That P On Me, is a TikTok dance trend set to rapper YoungBoy NBA's song "Put It On Me" in which the performer thrusts rhythmically while walking from one side of the camera to the other, mimicking a move that YoungBoy does in the music video for the song. The trend began in September 2022 as people began doing the dance over captions about getting attention from their significant other or crush and became increasingly popularized throughout October.

Origin

On September 6th, 2022, rapper YoungBoy NBA posted the video for his song "Put It On Me" to YouTube,^[1] garnering over 9.9 million views in two months. Around the 00:14-second mark, YoungBoy dances across the screen while thrusting rhythmically (shown below).

On the same day, TikToker^[2] @fam0uskash posted a video captioned, "When she like boys that know how to dance," where he starts to dance like YoungBoy in the clip, then shows clips of YoungBoy doing the dance, garnering over a million views in two months (shown below, left). On September 8th, TikToker^[3] @lildoodieee posted a video captioned, "'Replied to your story:😍" followed by him doing the dance as YB sings, "she wanna put that pussy on me," garnering over 930,000 views in two months (shown below, right). This is the earliest known video doing the dance following @fam0uskash's meme.

Spread

The dance spread over the following months in both similarly captioned videos about getting attention from a crush and as its own in dance videos. On September 10th, 2022, TikToker^[4] @prettyfacelondon_ posted a video doing the dance, garnering over a million views in two months (shown below, left). On the same day, TikToker^[5] @deco2ta posted a video doing the dance, garnering over 1.6 million views in the same span of time (shown below, right).

The dance became notably popularized throughout October 2022 as it continued accumulating more renditions. On October 15th, TikToker^[6] @marleee1234567 posted a video doing the dance with friends, garnering over 9.3 million views in a month (shown below). By November 11th, the original sound for the trend was used over 127,000 times.
