In Final Fantasy IX there was a famous swordfight where one would impress nobles and Queen Brahne by performing the sequence correctly, and if 100 nobles were impressed, the player would get a moonstone from queen brahne. However, sometimes, even if the player impressed 100 nobles, but still missed a button, It would say 100 nobles were impressed, but Queen Brahne was not impressed. Tired of the quest for getting 100 nobles (One has to exploit glitches or low fps to do it really well), one user on the gamefaqs board decided to use Queen Brahne was not impressed as a meme and it was a rapid hit on the board, eventually going to the others (http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/197338-final-fantasy-ix/55778498?page=1) . While the appearance of the line was in 2000 with the Game Debut, people only really started using it last month, and it has spread since. some examples of the meme are:

Many people in this board and various other boards have been using the line "Queen Brahne was not impressed" in order to counter the argument of a player supposedly performing a nearly impssible feat in video games, similar to how O RLY? and pics or it didn't happen are used.
