Roger Skaer's "Fuck Around And Find Out" Chart refers to a viral video of TikToker @rogerskaer posted a TikTok humorously outlining the axiom Fuck Around and Find Out as though he were a teacher. After the video went viral, images of Skaer explaining the chart became reaction images used to comment on examples of a person facing consequences for their ill-advised actions.

On September 27th, 2022, TikToker[1] @rogerskaer posted a comedy video where he shows off a chart demonstrating how much someone has to "fuck around" to "find out" what they want to find out, saying, "the more you fuck around, the more you're gonna find out," garnering over 3.9 million views in two days (shown below).

Spread

The video gained viral spread over the following days. On September 28th, 2022 it was reposted to Twitter[2] captioned, "this is my favorite clip on the internet," garnering at least 160,000 likes (shown below, left). On the same day, Twitter[3] user @maiyajambalaya reposted the video, captioned, "there are tears in my eyes LMFAOOOOOOOOOO," garnering over 349,000 likes and 79,000 retweets in a day (shown below, right). On September 29th, Dexerto[4] published an article on the virality of the video.

Over the following years, images of Roger Skaer's video became popular as reaction images and exploitable variations in which Skaer's face was replaced with different people. For example, on November 6th, 2022, Twitter user @Freemanwastaken[5] posted an edit with Elon Musk's face on Skaer, gaining over 80 retweets and 1,800 likes in a year and a half (shown below, left). On February 26th, 2023, Imgur[6] user JohnWilliamsFromDillon posted an example with Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert, gaining over 62,000 views in one year (shown below, right).
