About

An S Line, also known as a Red Line, refers to the premise of the South Korean "K-drama" show S Line (S라인), which centers on female protagonist, Shin Hyun-heup, who can see red lines, called "S lines," coming out of each person's head, connecting them to each of their sexual partners. The show was based on a South Korean webtoon called S Line by Kkomabi. The show started a TikTok and internet trend in 2025 of people riffing on the S Line concept in viral video skits and memes.

Origin

The S Line webtoon by Kkomabi was originally released on November 2nd, 2011, according to Fandom.[5] It's orignal run was a year long.[1]

On June 11th, 2025, season 1, episode 1 of the K-drama series S Line aired on South Korean streaming services.[1][2] The show's synopsis on IMDb[1] reads, "A young woman with the ability to see mysterious red connections between lovers discovers her secret gift is no longer unique when special glasses granting similar powers appear on the black market." The main character is named Shin Hyun-heup, who sees red lines, called "S lines," connecting people to all of their sexual partners.[3]
