Singing My Starbucks Order refers to a series of viral TikTok videos that went viral in December 2019. The videos inspired a series of remixes and lip-sync videos.

Origin

On November 26th, 2019, TikTok user @sheiskings published their first "Singing My Starbucks" order video. Within one month, the video received more than 1.1 million views, 236,000 likes, 3,900 shares and 700 comments (shown below, left).

The following day, they posted another video that received more than 2.2 million views, 524,000 reactions, 7,300 shares and 870 comments (shown below, center).

On December 8th, 2019, @sheiskings posted their third video , which received more than 31 million views, 6.6 million likes, 130,000 shares and 26,000 comments in less than two weeks (shown below, right).

Spread

Following the release of the video, people began remixing and recreating the video through a series of lip-sync variations of the video (examples below).

On December 12th, 2019, Twitter user @johsfrankstein tweeted the video with the caption "if someone fucking did this to me at st*rbucks I would have put my mouth on the steam wand and turned it on." The post received more than 14 million views, 230,000 likes and 37,000 retweets in less than one week (shown below).
