Which Celebrity Do You Look Like? is an app by the Korean website Vonvon.me, in which pictures of various characters, celebrities and memes are uploaded to determine which celebrity the subject resembles. Online, images are often posted of humorous results from the app, featuring various characters, memes and animals uploaded as the original picture.

History

On March 17th, 2017, Vonvon^[1] launched the "Which Celebrity Do You Look Like?" app and posted a link on their official Facebook page (shown below).

Online Reaction

On March 25th, 2017, Redditor thewhaler1 posted an image of Kim Kardashian being compared to The Penguin to /r/funny^[5] (shown below, left). On April 20th, a screenshot of a Facebook post showing Christine Weston Chandler matched with Ariana Grande was submitted to iFunny^[4] (shown below, right).

On August 14th, 2019, Redditor MappyMo submitted an image of Staring Hamster identified as resembling actor Robert Downey Jr. (shown below). Within 24 hours, the post gained over 3,200 points (99% upvoted) on /r/me_irl.^[3] The following day, Redditor ExtraTerrestrial2187 submitted an image of the app pairing actor Samuel L. Jackson with actor Ryan Gosling to /r/me_irl^[2] (shown below, right).
