Stop Taking My Chips and I Just a Bebeh is an ironic TikTok trend inspired by a cringey video compilation of two "viral" TikTok sound effects. The line, "Stop taking my chips," comes from a notable 2020 video originally posted by TikToker @chealsealk, showing her 3-year-old son asking his mother to stop dipping into his Doritos bag. The line, "I just a baby," comes from a viral 2022 video originally posted by TikToker @little.blooming.women, featuring her daughter CoCo. In late July 2025, TikToker @crackingtortasdaily posted a video combining both clips and named the audio "SOUND OF THE SUMMER." The video went on to inspire other TikTokers to post ironic memes lip-dubbing to the perceived cringe normie sound effect.

On February 18th, 2020, TikToker[1] @chealsealk posted a video of her 3-year-old son holding a bag of Doritos, saying, "Stop taking my chips, okay?" The video gathered over 18 million views and 2 million likes in five years.

On February 22nd, 2022, TikToker[2] @little.blooming.women uploaded a video to TikTok where she tells her daughter Cosette, or CoCo, "When mommy says 'stop' you say 'okay.'" Cosette responds, "I just a baby." The video gained over 89.4 million views and 12 million likes in three years.

On July 28th, 2025, TikToker[3] @crackingtortasdaily posted a video combining both aforementioned clips alongside a caption that read, "Is this elite crossover 🥹 🥹 sound of the summer ✌️✌️ 🥹 🥹." The post gathered over 1.3 million plays and 200,000 likes in a week.
