About

Alice in Wonderland is a very popular novel written by Lewis Carol, which follows Alice in her journey into Wonderland, exploring all of her nonsense ideas and dreams before returning to the real world a bit more educated.

Origin

Alices Adventures in Wonderland was published back in 1865, gaining very little traction and low reviews until the sequel Through The Looking Glass was released in 1871.

Spread

Over the course of the last century, Alice in Wonderland has been adapted over 25 times, and refrenced or parodied in over 100 different works, gaining a significant spike of popularity when Disney created an Animated Adaptation in 1951.
