About
All About Steve is an American romantic comedy about a crossword puzzle author played by Sandra Bullock, who becomes obsessed with a man name Steve (played by Bradley Cooper). Despite poor critical reception, the film has become a cult hit for fans of bad movies.
History
Production for All About Steve began in July 2007; however, the film was not released until September 4th, 2009.[1]
On August 5th, 2009, YouTube 20th Century Fox uploaded the trailer for the film. The post received more than 2 million views in 10 years (shown below).
Reception
The film received near-universal pans from critics. On the review aggregator Metacritic,[2] the film holds a score of 17 (based on 27 reviews). On the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, [3] the film holds a 6% certified rotten score (based on 139 reviews). The site's critical consensus reads, "All About Steve is an oddly creepy, sour film, featuring a heroine so desperate and peculiar that audiences may be more likely to pity than root for her."
In 2010, the film was nominated for five Golden Raspberry Awards (also known as Razzies). At that year's ceremony, Bullock accepted her Razzie for Worst Actress, making her the first actress to win a Razzie and an Academy Award in the same year.
On January 13th, 2011, the Razzie Channel YouTube page shared a video of Bullock's acceptance speech for the Worst Actress award. The post received more than 765,000 views in eight years (shown below).

On July 18th, 2019, comedy writer Daniel Kibblesmith tweeted [4] a variation of the Wrong Answers Only meme, posting an image of the poster with the caption "What is this movie about -- Your best actual guesses only." The post received more than 4,700 likes, 2,000 comments and 580 retweets in 24 hours (shown below).
Following the post, people responded with joke answers as to what the film could be about. Twitter[5] user @TheMattDWilson tweeted, "Sandra Bullock plays the infamous Umbrella Killer -- a gleeful serial murderer who impales people on umbrellas. Two yellow-shirted detectives investigate the umbrella impaling death of a man known only as "Steve," a mysterious drifter who can't uncross his arms." The tweet received more than 4,500 likes and 250 retweets in 24 hours (shown below, left). Twitter[6] user @thedaliallama tweeted, "New quirky weather girl shows up and flips the news station rules on their head. One is the love interest. One is the angry boss who hates her at first. One is her work best friend. Her name is Steve." The post received more than 2,300 likes and 80 retweets in less than 24 hours (shown below, right).
