Cooking With Shereen is an online cooking series hosted by Chef Shereen Pavlides, a television chef, food writer, entrepreneur, food stylist and cooking show host.
History
On December 9th, 2018, Chef Shereen Pavlides launched the Facebook [1] under the name "Shereen Pavlides QVC." She later changed the name of the page to "Cooking with Shereen" on October 28th, 2019. Before that name change, Shereen registered a website, CookingWithShereen.com, on June 10th, 2019.[2]
On August 23rd, she launched the COOKING WITH SHEREEN YouTube channel. That day, she published her first video, "How to Blanch Peaches for Easy Peeling." The post received more than 1,500 views in less than one year (shown below).
On October 27th, Pavlides posted her first TikTok video. The post received more than 27,000 likes in less than one year (shown below, left). Weeks later, her video on making milkshakes received more than 1 million views, 77,000 likes and 100 comments in less than one year(shown below, center).
Pavlides TikTok presence grew in the next year. As of August 2020, the account has more than 2.3 million followers (example below, right).

Months later, she published her most popular video on YouTube "STEAKHOUSE CREAMED SPINACH." The video received more than 229,000 views in less than one year (shown below).
Reception
Online Reaction
On Twitter, some have expressed an appreciation for the "powerful energy" exuded from Pavildes videos. On August 8th, 2020, Twitter user @firagawalkwthme tweeted a compilation of Pavildes videos. They captioned the video, "powerful energy from this woman." The tweet received 4.4 million views, 150,000 likes and 29,000 retweets in less than one week (shown below).

The following week, journalist Yashar Ali tweeted a video with the caption, "I want to disappoint @ShereenPavlides just so she can yell at me." The tweet received more than 42,000 views and 700 likes in less than 24 hours (shown below).
