Feminization and Islamification, also known as Feminized and Islamized, is a niche fetish that involves White Boys Becoming Sissy Muslimahs. Generally, this refers to white men or femboys who undergo Sissy Hypnosis to turn into Muslim women or girls. The phenomenon is said to date back to European men being forced into marriage with Muslim men who conceal them in hijabs and burqas, referring to them as Eastern Tradwives. In the late 2010s, the phenomenon started to be romanticized on Tumblr and Twitter where the subculture is dominant. Many text posts and infographics were shared by the fetish's proponents, which eventually seeped into meme discourse across social media.

History

The exact origin of white boys converting into sissy Muslimahs is currently unknown, however, traces of it surfaced online starting in the late 2010s. An archived 4chan thread posted to the /pol/ ^[1] imageboard on March 17th, 2018, is the earliest known example of discourse regarding the fetish. An anon dubbed "Your friendly muslimah" started the thread, stating, "I find it disturbing that white men can't admit to their own women that they want them to be submissive and feminine."

They went on to reply to multiple rebuttals from other anons, claiming in one post, "which is why we are in the process of converting disillusioned white men into Islam. This is going to be the fall of Rome 2.0. Righteous White men will be our weapon."

Some additional insight into the phenomenon is evident in four infographics related to "Eastern Tradwives" uploaded on July 2nd, 2020, by the Tumblr^[11] blog bellefair-institute. The infographics state, "For centuries, feminised European males have ended up as 'wives' in the Middles East and North Africa." It goes on to add, "These conservative, religious societies are surprisingly welcoming to feminised male consorts." Overall, the process is emphasized to be non-voluntary, however, covered in a hijab and burqa, the male consorts can speak limited Arabic and exist "respected" in a modest society, as opposed to the perceived "sluttiness" of Europe and Western civilization. The four text posts received roughly 1,400 notes over the course of two years (shown below). Their historical claims are unproven.

SO EASTERN TRADWIVES 1 For centuries, feminised European males have ended up as "wives" in the Middle East and North Africa. The trip is never entirely "voluntary" for the wives as volunteering would indicate deviant homosexual urges quite unbecoming in their new role as modest homemakers. But many sissies find, after a period of training and cultural adjustment, that the lifestyle has many compensations. They can express demure femininity and live an entirely womanly life within a proper framework of strict discipline, under the guidance of a stern but caring and passionate husband. Tawdry Western "freedom", which leads only to sluttishness and self-loathing, is put aside and they find themselves cherished and valued. The long history of importing these feminised "wives" means that their treatment is governed by many tried and tested rules and customs, and many destination countries have wonderful training and surgical facilities unburdened by Western regulations and mores.

In early 2019, Reddit^[2] posts were uploaded within NSFW roleplaying subreddits that specifically asked for "sissy muslimahs."

Sissy Musliman Tumblr Blogs

In late 2019, the fetish became embedded within niche Tumblr blogs that focused on the phenomenon. For instance, on September 22nd, 2019, the Tumblr^[3] blog ameera-yanayir made a post that read, "Forced feminization complete, now serving Muslim Master as there sissy muslimah sex slave," earning over 720 notes in three years.

Tumblr blog ameera-yanayir started posting text-post content en masse in September 2019. Each image macro showed a Muslim woman wearing a hijab or burqa with the text overlay related to "weak" white boys becoming the "submissive" wife of a "strong" Muslim man. For instance, on September 22nd, 2019, the Tumblr^[4] blog ameera-yanayir shared a text post that received over 140 notes in three years (shown below, left). Also on September 22nd, the Tumblr^[5] blog ameera-yanayir shared another text post, earning over 560 notes in three years (shown below, right).

The right path for every weak white boy: through a forced feminization, forced islamization to a live as a proper Muslimah, niqabi obedient wife.

Going into 2020, more Tumblr blogs started posting similar text posts. For instance, on July 8th, 2020, the Tumblr^[6] blog hadiyamuslimah shared a post that received over 295 notes in two years (shown below, left). Additionally, by late 2020, text posts from Tumblr were then reposted to Twitter, an example being a tweet posted on December 23rd, 2020, by Twitter^[7] user litrlmnt_albert (shown below, right).

Increased Awareness and Reactions

As the "Sissy Muslimah" community grew on Tumblr going into 2021, awareness of its existence started to spread in meme circles that found it absurd or strange. Tweets highlighting this absurdity surfaced en masse starting in mid-2022. For instance, on July 3rd, 2022, Twitter^[8] user chuugagotoku tweeted a screenshot of a Tumblr post, captioning it, "genuinely one of the most insane tumblr posts ive ever seen in my life im not exaggerating." The tweet received roughly 44,300 likes in four days (shown below).

Inspired by chuugagotoku's tweet, many users started to reply with their own text posts that they discovered on Tumblr, all posted within the summer months prior. For instance, Twitter^[9] user VAMPlRELLA posted a reply on July 3rd, 2022, that expressed disbelief over a different Tumblr post, earning roughly 3,100 views in four days (shown below, left). Also on July 3rd, Twitter^[10] user kogalklutz posted a different text post in a reply that received over 640 likes in four days (shown below, right).
