Reunited Apart is a web series talk show hosted by actor Josh Gad in which he reunites stars of major movies over video chat during the coronavirus for charity.

HIstory

On April 27th, 2020, Gad hosted the first episode of "Reunited Apart," in which he reunited the cast of the film The Goonies. The episode gained over 2.4 million views in a month and was part of a fundraiser for Disaster Philanthropy (shown below).


Subsequent episodes include reunited casts of Splash (which gained over 180,000 views in 2 days) and Back To The Future (which gained over 1.9 million views in 2 weeks) (shown below). The series airs on Gad's YouTube Channel.[6]


An episode featuring the reunited cast of Lord of the Rings is set to premiere on May 31st, 2020.

Online Presence

The show has proven very popular online. In particular, the Lord of the Rings reunion trailer prompted media coverage from Mashable,[1] the Los Angeles Times[2] and NME.[3] The Back to the Future reunion drew media attention from The Hollywood Reporter[4] and Attractions Magazine.[5]
