The "Super Freaky Girl" TikTok Dance refers to two different TikTok dances set to the song "Super Freaky Girl" by Nicki Minaj, a solo dance created by @larsgummer and a two-person dance created by @madsywadsy01. The song was released in August 2022 and the dances were created that same month, with notable TikTokers including Charli D'Amelio and Jojo Siwa performing them.

Origin

Solo Dance

On August 10th, 2022, TikToker[1] @larsgummer posted a video where he performs a dance to the song "Super Freaky Girl" by Nicki Minaj, telling people to learn the dance before the song is released. The video gained over 100,000 views in four weeks. He posted another video to TikTok[2] doing the dance on August 11th, garnering over 500,000 views in the same span of time (shown below).

Duos Dance

On August 14th, 2022, TikToker[3] @madsywadsy01 posted a video dancing to the song with a friend where one person exits the screen at times, leaving the other to dance, garnering over 3 million views in three weeks (shown below).

Spread

Both dances spread across TikTok over the following weeks. On August 18th, 2022, JoJo Siwa performed the solo dance on TikTok,[4] garnering over 10 million views in three weeks (shown below, left). On August 29th, TikToker[5] Charli D'Amelio posted a video doing the dance, garnering over 23 million views in a week (shown below, right).

On August 31st, TikToker[6] @ferchugimenez posted a video doing the duos dance with her boyfriend, garnering over 10 million views in a week (shown below, left). On September 2nd, TikToker[7] @katiefrankles performed the dance with her cousin in a skit video, garnering over 8 million views in five days (shown below, right).
