This meme began shortly after MTV aired The Jersey Shore in late 2009. In one of the episodes a house mate of the The Jersey Shore attacked a young man in the streets. He stormed the poor fellow knocking him out in one punch, right after pumping his fists and yelling "That' one shot kid! One shot!"
