That's Wiggity Wack, Yo refers to a screenshot taken from Persona 4 in which a character called "Funky Student" says "Man you just killed my vibe. That's wiggity-wack, yo." The image became a popular reaction image on Reddit in August of 2019.

Origin

The "Funky Student" appears in Persona 4, which was released on July 10th, 2008.^[1] In the game, he states "Man, you just killed my vibe. That's wiggity-wack, yo" (shown below).

Spread

On August 26th, 2019, Redditor MrCream_69^[2] posted the image to /r/memes saying that they wanted it to become a meme template. Shortly after, other Redditors obliged. User hishon01^[3] posted it as a reaction image in /r/memes later that evening, gaining over 11,000 points (shown below, left). User DirtyDanatnight^[4] posted an example in /r/dankmemes that gained over 60,000 points (shown below, right). Numerous other examples began spreading through Reddit over the following days, though none proved as popular. On August 27th, 2019, the template was covered by StayHipp.^[5]
