The Blue Mike Wazowski is a video and parody character originating on the Movieunleashers YouTube channel. The character appears to be Mike Wazowski's limbs edited onto what looks to be an orange, with the mouth and eye being replaced by Dane Powroznik's mouth and eye, all hue-adjusted to a blueish color. The character is puppet animated, and voiced by Dane himself. In it's video of origin, the blue Mike Wazowski rants about other various miscolored monsters. It originated before this video though, and according to Just Jargon, it was brought to life when Dane was photoshopping the Monsters Inc. poster and replacing Mike Wazowski's face with his friends' face, but messed up while blending the colors due to having the nightlight setting enabled on his PC. The setting reduces blue light on your computer screen to reduce eye strain, and as a result causes some shades of blue to look like other colors.
Dane, after making this mistake and finding it hilarious, said that bq. the blue Mike Wazowskibq. sounded like a name that would belong to a commentary channel, to which Just Jargon said the character would likely rant on other miscolored monsters.
As a surprise for Christmas, a sequel to the original video was made. Later, Dane also edited the blue Mike Wazowski into the live action Sonic movie trailer.
