The Pressure Is Getting Worser, also known as The Pressure Is Getting Worsa is a catchphrase and viral video that originated from a TikTok clip in mid-July 2022. The trend began when Ghanaian TikToker @maastoneprophetes posted a video saying "Wow, the pressure is getting worser. The guys are giving up and the ladies are weeping." The video then spawned a lip-dub trend before having more widespread fame, going on to be quoted by a Ghanaian pastor and other TikTokers in skits.

On July 17th, 2022, TikToker[1] @maastoneprophetes posted a video of herself saying, "Wow, the pressure is getting worser. The guys are giving up and the ladies are weeping." The post gathered 5.1 million views and 1.2 million likes in nearly two months (seen below).

On July 21st, 2022, TikToker[2] @bertnationn made a video using the sound in a skit with an on-screen caption, gathering over 300,000 views and over 70,000 likes in nearly two months (seen below).

On August 28th, 2022, TikToker[3] @teesupreme then posted a clip of Ghanaian Pastor David Antwi quoting the original TikTok during service. The upload gathered over 2.7 million views and over 500,000 likes in nearly one week as it continued to spread on the platform (seen below).
