They're Bombs or These Aren't Home Made, They Were Made in a Factory. A Bomb Factory. They're Bombs, refers to a scene from SpongeBob SquarePants season two where a pirate fish explains that the pies he's hauling are actually bombs. In December 2022 the scene's audio went viral on TikTok, inspiring lip dub videos, including a notable thirst trap video by TikToker Kenzkun. Some users also used the pirate fish as a green screen exploitable.
Origin
On December 6th, 2022, TikToker[1] @mrlinguini7 posted a clip from season two, episode 24 of SpongeBob SquarePants[2] where a pirate moving bombs shaped like pies explains to Squidward that the pies are bombs. The video is captioned, "Teacher: you're not allowed to bring food from home" and garnered over 1.4 million views in two weeks.

On December 11th, TikToker[4] @tequilamaggots posted an original animation over the sound, garnering over 42,000 views in nine days. On December 15th, TikToker[5] @igreenscreenthings posted a green screen of the fish saying the lines, garnering over 1.3 million views in five days (shown below).

Kenzkun "They're Bombs" TikTok
On December 18th, 2022, TikToker[6] @kenzkun posted a lip dub video to the sound where she pulls her dress forward as the fish says "they're bombs" to accentuate her butt, garnering over 3.7 million views in two days. On December 19th, the video was reposted to /r/Unexpected,[7] recieving over 93,900 upvotes in a day. The original upload has since been deleted along with her account, but was reuploaded to her new TikTok[8] account, @kunzken, on December 22nd, garnering over 141,000 views in a month (shown below).
