This Video Is ✔Life Changing ✔Informative ✔Inspiring refers to a comment copypasta originating from YouTube's video feedback feature in which a viewer is asked to respond whether they found the recently watched video life-changing, informative, calming, useful, and enjoyable among other things. The feature since become a subject of viral posts as users shared screenshots of themselves providing feedback to silly videos, while the feedback form also gained popularity as a comment copypasta.

Origin

In 2019, YouTube launched a feedback feature that offered users to rate a video on a scale from one to five stars and to comment why they liked the video by checking one or more options. The options included "life-changing," "useful," "informative," "inspiring," "calming," "enjoyable," "heartwarming" and "other" (example shown below).

On September 22nd, 2019, iFunny^[1] user memethief6969 posted the earliest found meme based on the feature, an image in which an Uh Oh Stinky meme was rated five stars and every checkbox was ticked. The meme (authorship unconfirmed, shown below) received 17 smiles on the platform in five years.

Spread

More screenshots and edits in which all the checkboxes were marked for a particular video were posted online in 2020 and the following years. Notably, the format has often featured memes popular at that time: for example, on June 30th, 2020, iFunny^[2] user Lunastra posted a meme about the Comically Large Spoon video that gained over 60 smiles in four years (shown below, left). On July 10th, 2020, an unknown Redditor posted a meme in which a video ranking songs in VeggieTales was rated with all the options. The post (shown below, right) received over 700 upvotes in the /r/comedyheaven^[3] subreddit in four years.

On January 3rd, 2021, iFunny^[4] user contorted_spaghettinoodle posted a meme based on the format featuring the viral video "Dog eats Bean Burrito in 1 seconds." The post (shown below) was featured on the platform and received over 43,900 smiles in three years.

Additionally, the feedback form also achieved popularity as a copypasta, primarily on YouTube.
